Our privacy practices comply with data protection requirements such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
Use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Where personal data (e.g. name, address or email) is collected on our pages, this is done on a voluntary basis wherever possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.
We would like to point out that data transmission on the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data from access by third parties is not possible.

Cookies and cookie notice
To manage the cookies used and related consents, we use our own integrated consent tool on our website (no third-party provider). On first visit, a cookie notice appears at the bottom of the screen. You can choose between "Accept all" and "Necessary only". Your choice is stored solely locally in your browser (localStorage) – no data is transmitted to external service providers. Storage remains until you delete the website data in your browser.
The legal bases for processing in this context are Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the legally compliant obtaining and management of cookie consents.
In addition to the data mentioned, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Persistent cookies serve to make use of our website easier and tailored to your needs.
Cookies are small text files that your web browser stores on your computer when using our website (unless you have blocked these settings). You can configure cookie settings in your browser. Using cookies is safe for your computer. Cookies do not transmit viruses nor allow access to your computer.
You can use our website without activating cookies, but with functional limitations and reduced usability. Tailored information or product offers would not be possible.
How to configure your browser’s cookie handling:
Internet Explorer: Click "Tools" in the menu and select Internet Options. Choose the "Privacy" tab. Here you can set the extent to which cookies should be accepted or rejected. Confirm with "OK".
Google Chrome: Click the "Customise Google Chrome" icon in the top right. Select "Settings". Click "Show advanced settings". In "Privacy" click "Content settings". You can change cookie settings under "Cookies". Confirm with "Done".
Firefox: In the "Tools" menu select Settings. Choose the "Privacy" tab. Click the drop-down and select "Use custom settings for history". Here you can set whether and from which websites cookies are accepted. Confirm with "OK".
Links to Google Maps and map services
Our website contains links to Google Maps and map services (e.g. maps.app.goo.gl or google.com/maps). These lead to external pages – we do not embed maps directly on our website. Clicking such a link takes you away from our site; data collection is then carried out by the respective provider (especially Google). We have no influence over this. For information on Google’s data processing, see Google’s Privacy Policy.
Google Fonts
For uniform font display, we load fonts from Google Fonts (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When you visit our page, your browser connects to Google’s servers; your IP address may be transmitted to Google. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in uniform, appealing presentation). For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy.
External scripts and images
For icons we use Lucide Icons from unpkg.com (CDN). For country symbols (e.g. language selection) we load images from flagcdn.com. When these resources are requested, IP address and technical data may be transmitted to the respective operators. The providers’ privacy policies apply in this context.
Online orders via Wolt
Our website links to Wolt’s delivery service. Orders are placed exclusively on Wolt’s platform; data processing is carried out by Wolt. For Germany, the responsible entity includes Wolt Enterprises Deutschland GmbH, Stralauer Allee 6, 10245 Berlin. Wolt’s privacy policy is available at: https://explore.wolt.com/en/deu/privacy.
Contact form
If you contact us by email or via our contact form, the information you provide, including your contact details, is stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry and any follow-up questions. This data is used solely for processing the matter. We do not pass your data on without your consent.
Processing of your online application at Fun Stores
Your personal data and electronic documents are collected and processed in accordance with applicable laws, in particular the German Federal Data Protection Act.
Personal data you provide is collected and processed only for the respective purpose and stored solely for the services you request. Your data is generally not passed on to third parties outside of ORION Fachgeschäfte GmbH & Co KG.
Integration of social media services
Our online offering currently uses the social media services Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and the video portal YouTube.
When you visit our website and click on the logo of one of these services, you are redirected to that service’s external page. If you are logged in when clicking, the fact that you visited our website may be associated with your account.
If you are a member of one of these services and do not want them to collect data about you via our website and link it to your account, you should log out before clicking any of the logos. The legal basis for processing your data is Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR.
We would like to point out that as the operator of this website we do not receive any knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or how it is used by the social services. For information on data collected by these services, please refer to the respective providers’ privacy policies:

Technical standard – HTTPS/TLS encryption
To protect your data, we use the most advanced security methods for data transmission: the TLS protocol in the latest versions 1.2, 1.1 and 1.0.
Our certificate is based on a 2048-bit key signed with SHA256. We also offer Perfect Forward Secrecy to prevent any inference of our secret keys from partially compromised information. All information transmitted using this method (including website URLs) is encrypted.

Personal data is deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Further storage may occur where provided for by European or national legislation in EU regulations, laws or other provisions.
